Fencing lessons offered at Tulsa’s only USA Fencing sanctioned club and Tulsa’s only club with both USFCA-certified coaches and regionally-rated referees.
Our venue sports three Olympic-sized fencing strips with electronic scoring equipment and is the only venue to feature full-sized strips.

Coaching Staff
Daniel Diep
Club founder and instructor, Daniel started fencing his freshman year of college at the University of Florida under coaches Bruce Capin, Andrew Scheuermann, and Amir Rubin and is still an active competitor.
He earned the title of Moniteur of Foil through the United States Fencing Coaches Association more than ten years ago and holds referee ratings of R2 in both foil and épée, along with an L2 rating in saber, through the USA Fencing Referees’ Commission.

This is an introductory series of four lessons for beginners, held on Mondays beginning the first Monday of every month.
Club membership is available after completion of this course, along with continuing study offered twice weekly.
Lessons are available to students ages 12 and older.
Loaner equipment is provided. Please arrive in comfortable athletic attire and court/tennis shoes.
Week 1: Footwork, handling of the blade, simple attack and defense, etiquette, and underlying theory
Week 2: Introduction to the compound attack, survey of actions and responses
Week 3: Further studies on the tactical wheel of fencing actions
Week 4: Rules of play & electric fencing
Admission to group lessons for the month as well as access to the floor during open fencing.
Just want to fence? Monthly access to the salle during open bout times. Prior fencing experience required.
